BUSINESS users on a budget have been given some good news with the announcement of a fuel-sipping new Skoda Octavia Greenline. Thanks to its inherently lighter third-generation chassis, the spacious Octavia is now capable of 88.3mpg in EU standard tests, which corresponds to just 85g/km of CO2. The tease begins for the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder
Back in June we revealed that Spyker appeared to be heading to this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show with the B6 Venator Spyder, before which it would make an appearance at Salon Prive for a bit of a Garden Party. That was made even more certain when we revealed that Spyker would take the Venator Spyder to Pebble Beach for a reveal ahead of both the Frankfurt Show and Salon Prive a week or so ago. Dok-ing Automotive has launched a global sketch contest calling for interior designs for its XD concept.
Launched in collaboration with the Automotive Design Conference, the Croatian carmaker wants to see new, fresh and luxurious interior designs that embody its company slogan – ‘Driving First Class'. The XD's high-quality materials, colors, shapes along with the doors and seating layout offers a lot of scope for personalization through the use of color and material and so the design needs to be easy to alter in production. Your submission has to include three seats, three touchscreens on the dashboard (a 12″ central screen and two 17″ screens on each side) as well as the Dok-ing Automotive logo.
